Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) & Student Outcomes (SOs)

PEO 1. Our graduates practice Industrial Engineering profession with confidence, by solving complex logistics and management problems creatively and optimally.

PEO 2. Our graduates expertly generate and develop management ideas and transform them into new business products, logistics processes, and services to establish marketplace advantage and meet current demands.

PEO 3. Our graduates use technical leadership to establish successful careers in their business and profession, providing viable engineering solutions to the community.

PEO 4. Our graduates apply their technical expertise to support and strengthen society’s economic well-being.

PEO 5. Our graduates utilize new technologies, methodologies, and tools to successfully meet the challenges of the rapidly changing regionnal and global environment.

SO 1. An ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.

SO 2. An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.

SO 3. An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

SO 4. An ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, societal contexts.

SO 5. An ability to function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives.

SO 6. An ability to develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions.

SO 7. An ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.

Accreditation

      The Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management (IELM) Program is recognized at both National and International level. The program is accredited by the Council of Engineers Thailand, and by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the commission’s General Criteria and the Program Criteria for Industrial and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.
